How to invite, accept, and manage members in your Pexar App frame?

A Pexar frame is meant to be shared. The more loved ones you connect, the more memories find their way to your screen — and the more you all get to live through them together.

The first person who connects to the frame becomes the Family Organizer. The Family Organizer has full control over member access. Other members can also invite people, but only the organizer can assign or change permissions.

Invite Members

1. Open the Pexar App and select the frame you want to manage.
2. Open the members area. If you are the Family Organizer, tap Frame Settings in the top-right corner, then select Members. If you are a regular member, tap the More icon in the top-right corner, then select Invite Member.
3. In the Invite Family or Friends section, choose an invitation method:
   • Email invite: Enter the person's email address and tap Send Invite. You can also cancel a pending invitation from the member list.
   • Share code: Copy the frame code and send it to the person you want to invite.
   • QR code: Share the QR code with the person you would like to invite.

Note: People who join the frame are given the default permission of View all photos. The Family Organizer can set invited members' permissions to either View all photos or Manage all photos.

Accept Invitation

Once the inviter sends the invitation by email, you'll receive an invitation email. If you can't find it, please check your spam or junk folder.

1. Open the invitation email and tap the Accept Invitation button.
2. If the Pexar App is not yet installed, you will be redirected to the App Store or Google Play to download it first.
3. Sign in or create an account.
4. Return to the invitation link. The app will open the invitation page.
5. Tap Accept in the pop-up to join the frame. You will then be able to view the photos shared in the frame.

What happens after joining:

• If the invitation was sent by the Family Organizer, the assigned permission is applied automatically.
• If the invitation was sent by a regular member, the new user joins with View all photos.
• If the user joins through a share code or QR code, the default access is also View all photos.

Manage Members

You can manage members on either the frame or the Pexar app.

Note: Only the Family Organizer can manage frame members from the app.

What you can see in the member list:

• All joined members.
• Pending email invites also appear in the member list.
• Each member's profile shows their name and the total number of photos and videos they have successfully shared to the frame. The Family Organizer can see the photos each member has sent inside their profile.

Change member permissions (Family Organizer only):

• Tap a member to open their profile.
• View their permission tag, recent activity, and the content they have shared.
• Tap the More (…) menu to Change permission.
• Switch a member between View all photos and Manage all photos.
• Transfer the organizer role to another member. After the transfer, the previous organizer becomes a regular member with View all photos.
• Remove a member from the frame. Once removed, they will no longer have access to the frame and will be removed from the member list.
