How to set up your Pexar App frame?
Welcome to Pexar! Congratulations on your new Pexar App-powered digital picture frame. Whether it was a thoughtful gift or a well-deserved treat for yourself, we're here to make setup feel as effortless as flipping through a family album.
This guide walks you through every step, from the moment you unbox to the moment your first memory lights up the screen.
What You'll Need
- Your Pexar Frame & Power Adapter: Use the original cable provided in the box for the best performance.
- A Smartphone: iOS 13 or later, or Android 9.0 or later.
- A Stable Wi-Fi Connection: You'll need a 2.4GHz network name and password handy. (Most home routers broadcast a 2.4GHz network by default.)
- The Pexar App: Scan the QR code inside the box, or search "Pexar" on the App Store or Google Play.

Step 1: Unbox and Plug In
Take your frame out of the box, connect the power adapter, and plug it into an outlet. Your frame will power up automatically.
Note: The Pexar frame does not have a rechargeable battery. It needs to stay plugged in while in use.
Step 2: Set Up Your Frame
Follow the on-screen guide to:
- Select your preferred language
- Choose your time zone so the frame shows accurate local time
- Connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
- Read the short pre-use guide
Step 3: Connect Your Frame to the Pexar App
On the frame, tap "Add Members". A QR code and an 8-digit code will appear on the screen.


Open the Pexar App on your phone.
- New users: Register with your email address.
- Existing users: Sign in.
Once inside the app, tap "Add Frame" (or the Add Frame icon in the top-right corner). Scan the QR code from your frame, or enter the 8-digit code manually. Then name your frame and set where it lives — like "Mom's Kitchen" or "Living Room."

Step 4: Share Your First Memory
Tap the Send icon in the bottom-right corner of the app, then choose the photos or videos you'd like to share from your album.
