Frame won't turn on?
If your Pexar digital picture frame is showing no signs of life or failing to boot, the solution is usually simpler than it looks. Before reaching out to our support team, please walk through these essential power-checking steps:
- Try another power outlet: Plug the frame into a different outlet to rule out local power issues.
- The 5-minute reset: Turn off the frame (if possible) and unplug the power cord from both the frame and the wall. Wait at least 5 minutes before plugging it back in.
- Check the connection: Ensure the DC plug is firmly seated in the frame's power port and the adapter is secure in the wall.
- Inspect the adapter: Look for visible damage or fraying on the cord. If you have a compatible spare adapter, try testing with it.
- Remove external media: Unplug any SD cards or USB drives, then try to power on. Corrupted storage devices can sometimes prevent the frame from booting.
