Why is my photo cropped?

If a photo doesn't perfectly fit your frame, the frame will crop parts of the photo to fill the entire display.

By default, the frame uses "Fill frame" to ensure your photos cover the entire high-definition display.

For a single photo

  1. Tap the screen while the photo is playing to open the menu.
  2. Select "Fit to frame". This will show the full photo with bars on the sides to avoid cropping.

To set as default for all photos

  1. Go to Settings → Slideshow.
  2. Toggle "Fill frame" OFF. The frame will now default to "Fit to frame" for all future photos.
